Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is and insanely popular game that has a massive fanbase surrounding it. This much is true. So when we get word that there’s a good chance that the title will be released on upcoming consoles, it’s an exciting day indeed. Well, we’re hope you’re sitting down, because it’s probably not going to happen.
The photo below was recently spotted on developer Bethesda’s website, clearly advertising that Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim would be available for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
We shed a tear of joy, followed by a few of sadness, when Bethesda’s Pene Hines Tweeted this:
We have been working on the CMS that runs our sites. A bug caused platforms that don’t exist to show up for some games Sorry for confusion.

While we’re hoping the tweet above is just an attempt to play off the fact that Skyrim will actually be coming to next-gen consoles and the developer isn’t yet ready to make any announcements, it more than likely won’t. Of course, anything could happen, and if such a popular title could make its way to the PS4 and Xbox One, I’d be a happy lad.
Or you could just install Skyrim on a PC and mod the f**king s*it out of it.
