You would think that after the Ascend Mate 2 Huawei is done with big devices for some time. Think again. The Chinese firm has just unveiled another big phone in its own backyard.

Marked as B199, it’s a successor to the A199 with better hardware and bigger screen. Specs wise, this thing rocks a 5.5-inch 720p HD display, 2GB of RAM, 3G connectivity, 16GB of internal storage, 3,000mAh battery and two SIM card slots. Moreover, there’s the ability to charge other phones with the B199, which is somewhat strange considering it can easily handle two different SIM cards (so you don’t need to carry around two phones). Perhaps Huawei’s idea is to “share the energy” or something of that sort.

Anyhow, the Huawei B199 will likely be stuck to China and few other Asian countries where it will sell for an equivalent of $300. Chances are we won’t see it hitting the West any time soon… And it’s not like we need one…
