If you’ve been looking to upgrade your iPad, you may want to head over to your local Wal-Mart soon. The company is slashing prices on the iPad 2, and has a trade-in deal which offers at least $100 in store credit for any model of Apple’s iPad.
The price of the 16GB Wi-Fi only iPad 2 has been cut from $399 to $299, and will remain at that price for 30 days.
Wal-Mart’s trade in program guarantees at least $100 twords a new iPad when trading in any working and scratch-free iPad model. In addition to iPad trade-ins, customers can also trade in any working smartphone, Android or iOS, and receive at least $100 credit twords a new iPhone 5S, 5C, Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Mega and Galaxy Note 3. The smartphone trade-in does require customers to sign a new two-year contract with either AT&T, Verizon or Sprint.
