We get to see many different concept devices; however, not many of them are released by companies that actually plan to turn these concepts into real-world products. So we were intrigued to see the MWatch concept posted by the Chinese firm’s senior manager.

As you can see for yourself, this is one amazing device. Suggested specs are equally impressive and include things like a 2.4-inch VGA (480×640 pixels) curved screen, 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus, NFC, Bluetooth and even Wi-Fi connectivity. In addition, Meizu envisions a catalog of more than 5,000 apps that can run on its smart watch.

While that’s all nice, we still don’t know whether Meizu will launch its smart watch this year, or will rather wait for some other time to do so. The MWatch does look promising, but also a bit unrealistic since its price could easily top $1,000 or more.

What do you think about the MWatch concept?
