Recon Instruments, which makes smart glasses / head-up displays for sports, has managed to raise cash from Motorola Solutions Venture Capital. This is not the part of the company that makes phones and thus won’t become part of Lenovo.
Recon is a pioneer in wearable computing and Heads-up Display technology, and the new cash will help the company “accelerate product development” and to ramp up global marketing and distribution.
