Motorola has started rolling out Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for three of its phones, Moto X, Moto G and Moto E. Initially, the new software is heading to Moto X customers from T-Mobile, Moto G users in the US and Brazil (Moto G 4G included) and Moto E owners in the US, with other regions and operators following shortly.
All three models are getting their share of bug fixes, performance improvements and security updates, as well as a new dialer. In addition, there are few other things included for the Moto G and Moto X, including the ability to pause a video while recording in the camera app and the Motorola Alert app, which can send periodic alerts to your selected contacts. Furthermore, the X also got enhancements to the camera app like more realistic flash colors, improved low light photos and better consistency of exposure.
If you’re in the “affected group” of users, you should get notification any day now. You are also free to check for firmware updates through Settings -> About phone. Hopefully, you’ll find what you’re looking for there. 😉
