Rovio’s on a roll, adding a bunch of new levels to the smash hit Angry Birds Star Wars II and making the title free to download from the App Store. The game expands on the Angry Birds Star Wars franchise by offering a slew of new characters and abilities from across the Star Wars universe. The game will now include characters and storylines from the prequels as well, as well as allowing players to join the “pork side,” playing as the pig baddies.
Along with 30 characters to choose from, new levels and new weapons and Jedi moves, Rovio is releasing a line of 30 collectible figures from Hasbro called TELEPODS. When a TELEPOD is placed on a phone or tablet, the character is transported into the game.
