U.S. Cellular now has the new and improved 2014 Moto X, and you can grab it for just $99.99 with a new two-year contract. Pricing is on par with other U.S. carriers such as AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile. That’s for the black model mind you; if you want to get your hands on a bamboo or leather backside, you’re going to have to wait until later this month and shell out an extra $50.
The second generation Moto X is a fine device, sporting a 5.2 inch 1080p AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 801 running at 2.5GHz and 2GB of RAM. The device is slick and functional, but is still just a step below other flagship Android devices like the LG G3 and HTC One M8 in the spec department. But that’s no matter; Motorola has made up for the 2013 spec sheet by throwing in specialized software that makes the overall user experience amazing. If you loved the OG Moto X, you’re going to love its new sibling.
Are you into it? Head over to U.S. Cellular and grab yourself a 2nd Gen Moto X today, or wait til later this month if you’ve got a hankering for some leather on your smartphone.
