You may never have heard of Gresso, but I assure you the luxury phone maker has been around the block a few times. The company released a new Android smartphone today, the Gresso Regal, which touts almost top of the line specs and a seriously impressive design. So, how much does the shiny smartphone cost? A cool $3000. Yeah, you read that right.
Here’s a look at the Gresso Regal’s spec sheet:
- Display: 5″ Full HD, Gorilla Glass.
Processor: quad-core, 1.5 GHz.
Screen resolution: 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Internal memory: 32 GB.
RAM: 2 GB.
SIM-cards: 1.
OS: Android 4.2.1.
Camera: 13.0 MP, autofocus, flash, front camera 5 MP.
Maximum talk time: 6h, maximum standby time: 300h.
Size: 143,2 x 70,2 x 8,8 mm.
Weight: 205 g.
Not super impressive specs, but that’s clearly not Gresso’s point. The Regal is made with premium grade 5 titanium, is manually assembled and only 999 units will be produced. You’re clearly paying for the design here.
If you’ve got $3000 just sitting around then this could just be the blinged-out Android for you. I don’t even wanna think how much an insurance policy on it would cost..
