Microsoft has started teasing the world about its upcoming smartphone, the first that will be launched without the Nokia brand.

Using the hashtag #MoreLumia, the Redmond giant is teasing the world with a corner of the device that also holds the front-facing camera. No details are known at this stage but we do hope to see something really amazing, a device that will be “ready” for the next major release of the platform (Windows 10) when it launches next year.

Additionally, we expect Microsoft to use Nokia’s famous camera technology and make its first Lumia device one of the best camera phones around. Actually, when it comes to mobile cameras, we would take nothing but the best from Nokia Microsoft.

Alongside the device, Microsoft is also expected to release the next update for Windows Phone 8.1 that should add data toggle in the action centre, sortable settings, support for new processors as well as support for other languages in Cortana… More to come, obviously.
