Vivo X300e: A flagship built around a 7000 mAh battery and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5

Vivo is getting ready to launch its next flagship smartphone, and the specs are hard to ignore. The Vivo X300e has already cleared China’s 3C certification, which means a release is close. As reported by Zamin.uz, the phone is expected to pack a 7000 mAh battery, one of the largest capacities seen in a mainstream flagship to date.

That battery pairs with 90W fast charging, confirmed through the 3C certification data. So while the cell itself is massive, you won’t be stuck waiting hours to top it up. For anyone who’s ever killed their phone before noon, this combination is exactly what they’ve been asking for.

The broader context here matters. Battery anxiety is still one of the top complaints among smartphone users globally. Most flagships in 2025 and early 2026 settled around 5000 to 5500 mAh. Vivo pushing to 7000 mAh is a clear signal that at least one major manufacturer is willing to prioritize endurance over thinness. If the X300e delivers on real-world battery life, it could pressure other brands to follow.

On the performance side, the X300e is set to run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, Qualcomm’s chip that hasn’t been officially announced yet. The inclusion of this processor tells us two things: the phone is being positioned at the very top of the market, and Vivo likely has early access to Qualcomm’s latest silicon. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 is expected to bring meaningful improvements in AI processing speed alongside the usual gains in raw performance and efficiency.

According to insider sources cited by the report, the phone will have a 6.6-inch display and will carry Vivo’s familiar “Deco” design language. At 6.6 inches, the screen sits in a practical middle ground. It’s large enough for video and gaming, but not so big that it becomes awkward to hold with one hand.

Camera hardware is another area where Vivo has invested heavily. The X300e will continue the company’s partnership with Zeiss and bring a three-lens camera system. The standout is the periscope telephoto lens, which allows optical zoom at longer distances without the image quality dropping off. Zeiss optics have been a real differentiator for Vivo’s X-series in previous generations, and this phone looks set to carry that reputation forward.

Here’s a quick summary of what the X300e is expected to offer:

  • 6.6-inch display
  • Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor
  • 7000 mAh battery
  • 90W fast charging
  • Three-camera system with Zeiss optics and a periscope telephoto lens

No pricing or global launch date has been confirmed yet. But with Chinese certification already done, the official announcement shouldn’t be far off. When it does arrive, the X300e looks like it will be a serious option for anyone who wants a phone that can actually last, without giving up on performance or camera quality.
