Early September is shaping up as the launch window, which lines up with when the Galaxy S25 FE arrived last year. That’s a solid screen for the price range this phone is targeting, and the size puts it comfortably in big-phone territory without crossing into Ultra absurdity.
Under the hood, the Galaxy S26 FE runs on the Exynos 2500. That’s actually a meaningful detail. Samsung has been mixing Snapdragon and Exynos depending on the region for years, and the FE line has historically gotten whichever chip Samsung needed to move. The Exynos 2500 is a capable processor, but it’ll be interesting to see how it holds up against the Snapdragon 8 Elite in the standard S26 when real-world benchmarks start rolling in.

The bigger picture here is that Samsung’s Fan Edition strategy is getting more attention than ever.
