Gameloft has launched N.O.V.A. Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance for iPhone 4, touting it to be the first game that takes advantage of all the innovations in technology on the iPhone 4. For instance:
- The graphics is optimized for that gorgeous Retina display.
- iPhone 4’s faster CPU can handle the improved 3D graphics.
- There are gyroscope based controls that provide “much more intuitive gaming experience.” You can rotate camera as you would moving your own head.
In addition to N.O.V.A. Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance, Gameloft will have 20 titles optimized for the iPhone 4. Some of their titles already got iPhone 4 updates, such as Brothers In Arms 2 and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction (as we reported earlier). Next in line will be Asphalt 5, which will also incorporate gyroscope controls.
I’m sure other game developers are also working round the clock to make sure their games and apps sing along the iPhone 4, too. We’ll definitely keep you posted how’s that going…
