
Telmap wants its share of the Windows Phone 7 market, too. The leader in mobile location solutions is gearing toward launching its navigation solution for Microsoft’s brand-new mobile platform and has already booked a first customer – Singapore’s SingTel.
As that’s the case with Telmap for other platforms, Windows Phone 7 version will also allow users to get turn-by-turn navigation with 3D moving maps, voice and text instructions announcing street names and Points of Interest such as gas stations and parking lots along the way, a dedicated pedestrian navigation, local search and content enhanced specifically for the Windows Phone 7. Moreover, there are real-time traffic information and the Cell-ID function that enables users to check their location and plan a route even when indoors.
Finally, in addition to Windows Phone 7, Telmap5 Mobile Location is also available for other platforms, including the iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Symbian, Java, BREW and the existing Windows Mobile OS…
