We told ya’ that after Samsung Captivate, the next AT&T Android smartphone to get the Froyo update will be HTC Aria. And voila… it’s almost here. Actually it should be released later today, according to this post on AT&T’s Facebook page.
As you probably know, the Android 2.2 Froyo will enhance your web browsing experience while also improving Microsoft Exchange support and adding few cool new features including the ever-useful WiFi hotspot. In other words – you DO want to update!
So what to do next? Make sure to check for updates throughout the day. To do that simply enter *#*#checkin#*#* on the dialer keypad (that’s *#*#2432546#*#*) and see if something new is available for download. Make sure your phone is fully charged and that you’re connected on a local (and fast) WiFi hotspot. Then just follow instructions provided on the screen. It shouldn’t be hard, quite the contrary. 😉
