After O2, another British carrier is getting the Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 – Three. Sammy’s baby is made for first-time smartphone buyers, sporting a 3.2-inch QVGA display, 3-megapixel camera, 600MHz processor, HSDPA, WiFi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, microSD memory card slot, while Android 2.2 Froyo is running the show.
Three is offering the Galaxy Mini for free on plans starting at 15 GBP. Alternatively, pay-as-you-go customers can get it for 99 GBP, which is about $159.
Aside from the Galaxy Mini, Three also sells the Galaxy Ace, which is more expensive – 199 GB on PAYG or free on plans starting at 25 GBP.
