Android and iOS games developer TinyCo launched the $5 million TinyFund to provide mobile game developers with capital and resources needed to successfully launch their games. Developers around the world are invited to submit their proposals for consideration, no matter at which stage of development they’re currently in.

Selected developers will get monetary assistance of up to $500,000 per title, as well as marketing, development and business assistance as needed. Recipients of funding will be announced in the third quarter.

It’s unclear what TinyCo will ask in return, but we’re betting they want a percentage of revenues for their efforts (and money).

TinyCo is the company behind five top grossing iOS games including hits like Tiny Chef, Tiny Zoo and Tap Resort, which have all appeared on the Top 10 free games charts in the App Store. In total, their games have over 20 million downloads.

For the record, TinyCo recently closed an $18 million funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz.
