Hot on the trails of Plants vs. Zombies being made available on Android, PopCap games has just announced another one of their highly popular titles, Peggle, is now available for Android.

As with PopCap Games’ previous offering of Chuzzle and Plants vs. Zombies, Peggle will be exclusive to the Amazon Appstore for two weeks, then the game will be made available on other Android app stores such as the Android Marketplace. The game will also be made available for completely free for today only, after which the price of Peggle will be listed for $2.99.

During our time with Peggle on Android earlier this year, we were concerned with its initial loading time, although the game was in its alpha stage back then. Even though there wasn’t much tweaking for the Android version when we saw it, the game still performed very well and I could imagine how well it’ll play with months of work behind. If you enjoy free games, especially games that are very, very good, then be sure to pick up Peggle today.
