Cut the Rope hits Android Market, Amazon Appstore for Android

After the soft launch in GetJar, ZeptoLab is bringing its BAFTA-winning title Cut the Rope to the wider audience. The popular game is now available through Android Market and Amazon Appstore for Android. However, unlike the free, ad-supported version GetJar offers, the one you will be able to download from Google’s and Amazon’s app stores costs 99 cents, though doesn’t have any ads at all.

If you’ve been living under a rock, you should know Cut the Rope is an addictive physics-based puzzler that challenges users to cut an increasingly complicated series of ropes to release candy into the mouth of Om Nom, a cute and ravenous little green creature. Along the way, you’ll be capturing a series of stars to achieve the top ranking, which BTW can be shared with other players around the world. Yep, it may sound dull, but it really isn’t — quite the contrary, once you try it out, you will kiss your free time goodbye. Don’t say I haven’t warned you. 😉
