Sprint has dropped price of the Nexus S 4G to $99.99 (down from the original $199.99). It’s common sense, when you think about it — if the HTC Evo 3D costs $199.99, Sprint’s version of Nexus S must be cheaper. The reason is obvious – Evo 3D has far superior hardware under the hood, rocking a bigger 4.3-inch 3D screen and dual-core processor. However, this isn’t to say something’s wrong with the Nexus S 4G. Quite the contrary, it’s still an awesome smartphone which gets the latest Android updates before any other device.
Specs wise, the Nexus S 4G comes with a single-core 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, 4-inch WVGA touchscreen, GPS, Bluetooth, and an array of connectivity options, including WiMAX (where available), EV-DO and Wi-Fi. Moreover, you get the vanilla Android experience which in most cases runs faster than custom UI’s handset makers usually prefer.
