Here comes the (USB) dongle, with Virgin Media
Virgin Media has just launched Mobile Broadband, following the successful launches of the other UK OpCos. It will form part of their converged package of fixed broadband, TV, and landline phone. As per the usual method, it’s the USB dongle that is doing the wireless connecitivty bit.
Mobile Broadband from Virgin Media is available on an 18 month contract and comes with a free USB modem and 3GB of data every month – enough for 2,000 emails, 100 hours of web surfing, 200 music tracks and 100 two minute videos.

Personally, I am still waiting for one of the UK Operators to hit me up with a dongle and unlimited usage to REALLY test their service….. anyone out there?
