Ticketmaster finally launches an Android app

Not sure why it takes so much time for certain companies to figure out iPhone users are not the only smartphone owners around and that Android is getting some serious traction lately (as in – last couple of years)? In any case, it’s good to see that more and more iOS apps are getting their Android counterparts.

Ticketmaster should definitely be in the “multi-platform group” since the common sense says it should want to make ticket purchasing seamless for all users. However, they just recently launched an Android app, which makes us kinda want to ignore them. Still, they’re pretty important entity and frequent event goers will appreciate the capability to browse tickets and buy them while on the go. Moreover, they/you can also get mobile alerts on sales and last-minute deals for favorite events.

The application is pretty straightforward and I guess it fits nicely in the “nice-to-have apps” group, especially for those of you who use Ticketmaster anyway. Hit the link below to grab their app…
