Canada’s Bell Mobility will start selling the LG Optimus L5 on July 10th. As you may know from our previous posts, it’s a low-to-mid end device which is a part of LG’s L-series smartphones. In other words, it’s nothing special and is more catered towards users on a budget who don’t want to spend a small fortune on a high-end smartphone.
Specs wise, the Optimus L5 boasts a 4-inch HVGA screen, 5-megapixel camera, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 800MHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage, while Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is running the show. Moreover, it also comes with HD Voice and NFC support, with LG bundling an NFC Tag/Sticker in the box.
Yeah, you shouldn’t care much about it, except if you’re looking for a device that doesn’t cost (much) more than $200 sans any long-term commitments…
