Like we forgot about it, Acer decided to announce the Iconia Tab A110 again. The low-cost tablet is already up for pre-order in the UK where interested users can grab it for 179.98 GBP, which translates into some 224 EUR or $292.
The problem, however, is that its 7-inch screen supports resolution of 1024×600 pixels which is much lower than Nexus 7’s 1280×800 pixels. Rest of the specs, however, are on par with Google’s tablet and include NVidia’s quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, Wi-Fi connectivity, HDMI out, Bluetooth, 8GB of built-in storage and an ever-useful microSD memory card slot (which Nexus 7 lacks). Moreover, the device ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of box, which is a nice touch…
So what do you think – do you like the Iconia Tab A110 more than Nexus 7? Or, you’re like me, preferring the higher resolution screen of Google’s tablet?
