Last week Double Fine took a risk, starting a Kickstarter for Massive Chalice. With the title it had made waves crowd funding, Broken Age still in development, it was a bold move going ahead with a new Kickstarter.
But it’s paid off in spades, as once again Double Fine fans have come through in a major way. Massive Chalice has met and surpassed its Kickstarter goal of $725,000 already, with 22 days to go. Now it just remains to be seen how much funding the project will get. Double Fine’s made it clear that they’ll put any surplus back into development. So this project can only get better.
