Snoop Dogg appears to be as good at marketing as he is rhyming. He’s constantly showing up in films, commercials, and of course still dropping tracks. The mobile app market is no different and Snoop’s aiming to be topp dogg of your mobile devices. His new game, Way of the Dogg, is coming to iOS devices (as well as PS3 and Xbox 360) with plans for an Android release later this summer.

Snoop just recently put out his Snoopify app for mobile devices, which allowed his fans to dress up their pics with all kinds of Snoop swag. Now Way of the Dogg lets you to drop some smackdown like it’s hot, fighting as the Doggfather himself. It’s one part rhythm game, one part brawler, all parts Snoop Dogg!

From the App store description

Way of the Dogg is a brutal, rhythm-action combat adventure, set to Snoop Dogg’s music. Each level is a fresh fight against a different character in a new location defined by a Snoop Dogg track. As AJ, fight your way through 14 levels, each a superbly choreographed beat-matched fight, set to Snoop’s music, including ‘Who am I?’, ‘Gz and Hustlas’ and ’10 Lil Crips’ to name but a few. Go head-to head with friends in multiplayer rhythm battles and follow Snoop’s lead in the Temple Tutorials. Train with Snoop, pick a side, take your chances and find the way: The Way of the Dogg.

Hopefully this tie in does well, and the Snoop apps keep coming.
