HTC has officially announced the HTC Desire 200 today, a lower end device which resembles the HTC One but at a fraction of the size.
The Desire 200 comes packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 running at 1GHz, 512MB of RAM, a 5MP rear facing camera and 4GB of internal storage, which is expandable via a microSD card. The device will be running on an unknown version of Android with HTC Sense, a 3.5-inch HVGA display and Beats Audio support.
Pricing and availability have yet to be officially announced, and we will more than likely see the device rollout at a very affordable price point. Previous rumors have tipped the Desire 200 to launch later this year in some Asian markets.
