What are strangest names for a phone you’ve heard?

lg-chocolateI was wondering down a local road the other day, and came across a dry cleaners – the name stuck in my mind because it was one of those strange ones where you think perhaps it might have been ill-conceived…. So the name was “Stains Dry Cleaners”…..!

You can see what they have done there – the fact that cleaning removes stains, yes, ha ha, very good – but maybe the undesirable effect is that the kind of stains you find in things that you send to a dry cleaner are not what you would want to have in mind! Suffice to say I’ve steered clear of that shop …..

It then struck me that dry cleaners are not the only products or services with odd names – mobile phones tend to get some strange ones too – from nicknames (Nokia’s banana phone, and Apple’s Jesus phone), right through to LG’s “Chocolate” range (seriously, I still don’t get that one).

But what I am wondering is if any of our readers have an opinion on the strangest phone name they have heard….

…. In a similar vein, a number of car manufacturers seem to be getting on the unusual naming bandwagon recently – what on earth is a “Cee’d”, a “QashQai”, or a “Kuga”?!
