The LG G2 one of the hottest and most powerful smartphones around right now, shipping with a design that we’ve yet to find on a smartphone before. Last week, LG published a video showcasing the design process of its latest flagship smartphone.
The G2’s rear side button design may seem a bit off-putting for some but they buttons have been placed on the back for a couple of reasons. Unlike most smartphones, the power and volume button on the G2 is easily accessible no matter what hand you’re holding it in, and also allow the user to turn up the volume while on a call without taking the phone away from your face. Of course, the button placement also adds a bit more flair to the rear side of the device and allows the sides of the handset to be ultra minimal.
We walked away pretty impressed with the LG G2 when we reviewed it, and the design of the handset is just one of many aspects of the handset that makes it the great handset that it is. With a stunning display, powerful Snapdragon 800, great camera and large battery, the G2 really packs quite the punch.
