Verizon Wireless will be among the U.S. carriers getting the HTC One Max, the Taiwanese company’s first phablet. As you can see from the image above, this model will have Verizon’s logo instead of HTC’s one, making sure you don’t forget which company you’re paying for the mobile service.

A guy at Android Central forums claims that Verizon’s unit will have a removable back cover and the ever-popular fingerprint sensor. Rest of the specs are rumored to include a large 6-inch full HD screen, 2GB of RAM, Ultrapixel camera on the back, BoomSound dual front speakers, big 3,300mAh battery and 16GB of internal storage. HTC will likely use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 chip (or even older Snapdragon S4 Pro) and not the faster Snapdragon 800; this in turn should make their baby more affordable than Samsung’s Galaxy Note III while offering “aluminum-powered” premium look & feel. We’ll see whether this will help the struggling smartphone maker move enough of One Max units…
