US mobile commerce joint venture Isis is gearing towards its nationwide launch, the event that will be celebrated with one million free million smoothies in partnership with Jamba Juice.

Backed by the major carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless – Isis’s NFC-based mobile wallet has been trialed in Salt Lake City, Utah; and Austin, Texas, with nationwide, commercial launch coming “in just a few weeks.”

The Jamba Juice deal is one of the first promotions to be publicly announced by Isis ahead of that launch, and follows a successful partnership between the two firms in the pilot services.

Jamba Juice on its end is rollout out NFC terminals with Isis’ proprietary SmartTap technology at its locations across the country, allowing customers to redeem and pay for products with one tap.

It’s worth reminding this isn’t the first mobile commerce service Jamba Juice has been involved in mobile payment schemes. The company has also participated in the Google Wallet offering and has also partnered with PayPal.
