Mobile World Congress begins this coming Monday, February 24th, where we will be seeing new tablets, smartphones and other gizmos from manufacturers across the globe. One of those is Sony, who has released a 15 second teaser video to get us all hot and bothered abut the company’s announcement at MWC.
The video doesn’t allude to anything really, just re-affirms that Sony has “something extraordinary” for us.
That special something is thought to be the follow-up to the Xperia Z1 smartphone, the Xperia Z2, also known by the codename “Sirius.” The Xperia Z2 is rumored to sport a 20 megapixel camera and a 5.2 inch screen, and has been rumored for a launch at MWC 2014.
Sony could have a tablet in store for us as well. The rumor mill has also churned a few tidbits of info out about the Xperia Z2 tablet, which is expected to tout a Snapdragon 800 processor, 3GB of RAM, an 8MP rear-facing camera and a 6.4mm thin waterproof body.
