Former Globalive Employee Leaks Marketing Strategy Slides Online

Some big news from north of the border today. Seems as though someone has leaked Globalive’s (Global Wireless) marketing strategy online. If you’ve never heard of Globalive before, they are a new entry into Canada’s mobile scene that recently spent $442 million to join the party. All we really knew initially is that the carrier planned to go live in the fall of 2009 in Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary… With a national launch the following year in 2010 (the national launch couldn’t come soon enough… Canada needs more competition in the mobile arena!). The groovy and positive thing about Globalive will/should be their pricing structure. Fixed monthly plans with no contract. Unlimited calling in your local area plus rollover minutes. Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it? Especially when you consider most Canadians are paying through the teeth for their mobile (especially data) services.

At any rate, back to the leaked Marketing plan. Word has it that a disgruntled former employee has posted the strategy after he/she was fired ‘for poor performance’. Hit the jump for full details. For a look at ALL of the slides please head over to the original post at Howard Forums. You’ll note the poor quality of the ‘Mr. Blurrycam’ images, but I suspect these pictures were snapped ‘in secret’. All in all, not so bad.
