Latest Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM leaks, shows Microsoft attempting to make their OS finger friendly

When I think Windows Mobile, I think of an over worked corporate executive with an expense account, hunched over a small screen, tapping away a falsified expense report for an extra night at a hotel and an escort with his stylus, generally looking like a douche bag. Not as bad as the guy who has an LED on his Bluetooth headset bright enough that astronauts in the International Space Station can see him, but close. Microsoft is looking to change that with Windows Mobile 6.5, and even more so with Windows Mobile 7, but before jumping the gun and saying the entire OS is fixed, check out the screen shot above of what the new “About” screen looks like. Below is an earlier build of 6.5, and at the bottom is a screenshot from Windows Mobile 2003 just so you can see the progress.

This screenshot is 6 years old. It is so old that it is a GIF instead of a JPG. When this screen shot was taken, I was not allowed to buy alcohol in the United States of America:

Update: Windows Mobile 2003 screenshot fixed. I had to convert it to a JPG. Wow.
