Rogers Wireless is testing HSDPA networkRogers is testing its HSDPA network in several cities in Canada. According to a number of sources, users in Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, London, Montreal, and Ottawa have mentioned their phones detecting the presence of 3G networks. There were no official word from the carrier, and signals can be intermittent due the testing. After all, Rogers have announced the roll-out of the new network somewhere in early 2008. In the meantime, they remain the only carrier to support two-way video calls on the continent.

So, if you want to feel some HSDPA love, you’ll need a device equipped with HSDPA radio, such as the HTC TyTN, which is available on Rogers, or some unlocked phone. If you live in one of the mentioned cities, drop us a comment — how does it feel to surf the Web on HSDPA? 🙂
