A quick heads’ up here for Rogers customers. Next month you may look at your bill and notice a slight change to your 911 fee. Rogers is bumping the fee up to $0.75 per month plus taxes, effective April 12th, 2010. The fee currently sits at $0.50 (plus taxes) nationwide.
I know a change of a whole stinkin’ 25 cents may not seem like a lot, but if we don’t shed some light on this, who’s going to do it? Sure, Rogers will update their website with the new information, but it’s not like they’re going to be forthcoming with this kind of information. ‘Oh yeah, by the way, we’re charging you more next month’ 😛
Keep an eye out for the slight increase on your monthly bill, and if you’re outraged… well… There’s not much you can do 😛
