U.S. Cellular is getting a new Samsung smartphone – SCH-i225 aka Exec. As you can guess from its name, this baby is bound toward executives who may need Windows Mobile 6.5 along with all the accompanying apps and services such as Mobile Office, Microsoft Exchange support and so on.
Specs wise, the Exec comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA (320×240 pixels) display, 2-megapixel camera, GPS, CDMA EV-DO 3G, Bluetooth, microSD memory card slot, 667MHz processor, and a battery that provides enough juice for up to 8 hours of talk time.
Finally, it’s worth adding that the Exec is not only for business folks — thanks to the pre-installed community widget, users can access popular social networking services and cyber schmooze while on the go.
U.S. Cellular is asking $99.95 for the Samsung i225, and that’s the price with a two-year contract and after a $70 mail-in rebate.
