Low-end Samsung Stride hits U.S. Cellular

U.S. Cellular has another low-end device in its offering – Samsung Stride. The clamshell-shaped phone won’t impress many with its feature set, but will provide the basic texting and calling features for those who don’t need much more anyway. Plus, there’s a 1.3-megapixel camera for taking occasional shots and the ability to access the carrier’s EasyEdge services to download various mobile content — including games, ringtones and wallpapers.

Such a “powerful” device won’t break anyone’s bank, though. U.S. Cellular is asking $30 for the Stride, but that unfortunately is with a contract agreement. If I were you, I wouldn’t put my signature on any contracts to get such a basic device, but then again I’m a super geek and you may be a “normal person.” 🙂

Anyhow, you can get additional information and grab the device instantly from U.S. Cellular’s website. Again, I urge you to keep shopping – a better deal involving a better device is out there.
