Yesterday I reported that Kari Tuutti from Nokia’s Multimedia Division said Nokia was open to joining the Open Handset Alliance (the group behind Android) if it proved beneficial. Nokia’s Music Store, currently in the UK only, and the N-Gage gaming service, currently delayed until December, are all efforts under a new branding scheme called Ovi. Video: Hacker clones Sony Ericsson W580i shake funtion to Nokia N95

The Sony Ericsson W580i has a gimmicky feature that enables you to shake the device to change track. Someone, and I’m trying to score more details on the guy, copied that functionality to the Nokia N95 which we just found out recently has a full blown accelerometer inside.
