Nokia has built in a proposition wherein people anywhere in the country can send New Year wishes to their loved ones in Mumbai and these would be displayed at huge outdoor hoardings around Mumbai.Worli, Pedder road, Bandra, Dadar, Thane or JVPD have messages displayed like: Happy New Year and Merry Christmas with sender’s name, scrolling across the huge billbords at those places.
For the first time there is an integration of three mediums – mobile, internet and the outdoors, asserts an official release.
Nokia also plans to display the best of messages received, at the Live – in New Year Eve concert in Mumbai. This will be picked up and telecasted live by the channels around the Globe. This is a chance for five minutes to fame. To display the messages one just needs to send NYE followed by the message to 5555.
Group M agencies Maxus and Portland who has executed this campaign said, "It has taken OOH on a completely different platform where viewers can actually interact through the billboards, naming this as interactive billboards."

Wicked! They do this at tech conferences where plasma televisions are hanging around all over the place, and all one has to do is upload an image to Flickr with a certain tag and boom you get your 5 minutes of fame.
