The Nokia N95 will hit the UK market in the second week of March.

Distributors are expecting their first shipments of the device to arrive on the 7th, meaning it should filter down to dealers in the following days.

The N95 is Nokia’s most highly specified phone yet and could be a means for Nokia to retake the agenda in the contract market, after a period of Sony Ericsson domination.

One distribution source told Mobile he had pre-ordered 2,000 units and that it was attracting a ‘huge amount of interest’ within the channel.

The UK is expected to have a two week exclusive over the rest of Europe on the N95. Nokia declined to comment on specific dates.
