NTT DoCoMo prepared a new device specially targeting older people. The Raku-Raku Phone Basic brings a set of useful features for senior citizens, enabling them to more easily understand the voice from the other side of the line. Feature “slow voice” slows down the spoken words, while “clear voice” reduces surrounding noise. Furthermore, the phone can automatically read out text from emails or web pages, and even announce incoming caller IDs. Plus, there’s a pedometer that can work out daily calorie consumption.
