I’ve said it before, and I’m saying it again – Japanese mobile phone market rocks! Not because of the device(s) I’m going to mention here, but because of its competitiveness, that make companies differentiate their products heavily in order to sell something.

Papipo! - a Cellphone for Kids

Latest invention involves “Papipo!” – a toy-like cell phone for kids, designed bu Willcom and the toy vendor Bandai. The device comes in 7 different designs, 5 of them targeting girls and 2 boys. Some of the devices have such names as Hello Kitty, Tamagochi, and Dragons. The price is also right. It doesn’t sound much to pay about $40 for a phone for your kid in Japan.

Though this phone is undeniably entertaining to kids, I don’t think I will love to get my daughter one. We’ll stick to her red Just5 phone. Though this phone has no games and activities being offered for her entertainment, the phone is ideal for her because of its emergency features. Find out more of this phone at http://www.just5.com.
