    Ciao Stefan,

and probably 10% of those 106 millions can play music in addition to all the rest!

    Like I said, it’s just a big number :-)

I had two iPod’s actually, neither for more than 6 months. I tried really hard to understand why they were so hip, but I just ended up using my tried and true flash based Creative player.

Hey Stefan, are you an iTunes user? For me it’s the complete and utter ease of use of the whole iPod experience that gives the edge over every other music playing device. I’ve been using the N95 for music in the last couple of weeks – it’s good, but it’s not ‘iPod’ good.

As for trying to understand why the iPod is so hip . . . I blame Jonathan Ive, the guy is a genius! The design of the iPod is iconic, it’s almost perfect.

I for one, truly hope that the iPod goes on to sell another 100 million!! To me, music is the ultimate expression of human emotion – it a language which never ceases to amaze, surprise and inspire me – Personally, I feel the iPod is the only device that pays proper respect to music.
