Someone got their hands on the OnePlus N6 before its official launch, and the photos are now out. According to Android Headlines, the early unboxing gives us four real-life images of the device, including a clear look at everything inside the box. The phone is set to go official on June 30 in India.
What’s inside the box matters a lot at this price point. A lot of budget phones these days ship without a charger or any accessories beyond the bare minimum. OnePlus is going in a different direction here.
The retail box for the N6 includes:
- The phone itself
- A charger
- A silicone case
- A USB-C charging cable
- A SIM ejector tool
- Standard documentation
If the phone does land under INR 20,000, as rumored, throwing in both a charger and a case makes the deal even better. That price works out to roughly $24 USD, though OnePlus has not confirmed any pricing or markets beyond India yet.
The specs that have been confirmed so far paint an interesting picture for a phone in this category. The N6 will carry an 8,000mAh battery with 45W charging support, which is a genuinely large cell even by 2026 standards. The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main sensor on the back and an 8-megapixel front camera. OnePlus also confirmed a 5,300mm² vapor chamber for heat management, which is not something you typically see called out on a budget device.
A Google Play Console listing added a few more details: 6GB of RAM, Android 16 out of the box, and a MediaTek Dimensity 6000-series chip under the hood. None of that is confirmed by OnePlus directly, but Play Console listings tend to be accurate.
Budget Android phones have been under pressure lately. Component costs, particularly for memory and storage, have pushed prices up across the board. A genuinely affordable phone that still includes useful accessories and a large battery could stand out in that environment, especially in a market like India where price sensitivity is high and competition is fierce.
OnePlus has been leaning into the budget end of the market with its N-series for a few years now, though the brand has faced questions about its identity as its parent company OPPO continues to consolidate across its sub-brands. Whether the N6 reaches markets outside India remains to be seen. The June 30 launch date is only days away, so the full picture should come together quickly.
