Peekamo mobiel social network allows free cell phone-based sms text messagesBebo, where you at? Free SMS text from your desktop is a great feature, but free texts from your mobile phone is even better! Peekamo is the newest mobile phone-based social network to bust onto the scene, and it’s looking to grab a good chunk of the market with a platform that allows free SMS texting. These text messages are linked to your Peekamo ID and not your phone number – nice for anonymous love letters texts.

Peekamo serves up the usual gamut of mobile social networks – customizable profile, join groups, share pictures, chat – but the highlight is that darn-nifty free text message feature. Send free SMS messages using your phone by texting to Peekamo’s short code. We reckon that feature alone will help Peekamo rise through the numerous ranks of social networking startups.

Long time user of Peekamo. I can vouch that Peekamo is legit. No spam here. I’ve been bugging them about international text for some time now, to my surprise today when I was logging in, direct quote from Peekamo website…

“Peekamo is now available in 179 countries with support for over 500 mobile providers.”

    It’s about time Peekamo!

    Keep up the good work!

I alread tried PEEKAMO and it is not what I thought it would be, “providing free sms through mobile”. I signed up with peekamo, got my peek ID, follow instruction carefully, sent out messages, and got charged for all of them. So, people please don’t trust everything you read or see on the internet. You can try it out for youself but don’t send too many messages like i did because in the end it is your money thay you are paying.
