Glu Mobile announced a partnership with Konami, granting the mobile publisher exclusive distribution rights to Konami properties across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Under the agreement, the production of the titles will be led by Konami’s mobile development facilities in Europe, and product lineup and details will be announced shortly, with the first titles set to launch in H2 2007.
“Glu’s reputation and track record of creating hits on mobile made them the partner of choice for bringing our key titles to mobile gamers in these key regions,” added Kunio Neo, President of Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. “Our collaboration with Glu will ensure that the Konami games that people love will be quickly and easily accessible and available to as many consumers as possible.” (via: TMCnet)
