The theory behind DoCoMo’s latest handset initiative is clear – if it’s good enough for video games, it’s good enough for mobile phones. The Japanese largest carrier is planning to incorporate gesture recognition technology into some of its handsets.

NTT DoCoMo said that they will introduce first GestureTek-enabled devices in the next few weeks, along with the games that will support the technology. Next step could involve improved, move-based web surfing and map browsing. Ehh, Japan… (via: mobilemag)
