In the age-old tradition of changing up a handset’s color to keep things fresh – Sprint has announced their Samsung UpStage in a new Red color scheme. As expected, we’re looking for this Red Samsung UpStage around June 18th. As these things go, the only thing to change from the previously-black version of the UpStage is its coloring. The guts are going to be the same – which is to say it will still have the 2MP camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, and 100MB onboard memory.

For a two-year sentence contract, you can get your hands on this slightly-schizo handset for $99 with a $50 wireless bill credit. So if you just gotta get the Samsung UpStage in Red to complete your collection, then by all means head on over to Sprint on the 18th.
