The way-too-long AT&T interviewee line – if you can’t buy the iPhone, you can at least sell one

As far as I can tell, partnering with Apple could be one of the best marketing moves Cingular/AT&T has ever done. To prove my point, you only have to see the image above, illustrating the way-too-long interviewee line outside of the Midtown Manhattan AT&T store that extends half a block. Are all these people lining up for jobs leading up to the iPhone launch? The store rep doesn’t think so – there are other positions opened in the store. Yeah, yeah… they are looking forward to learn more about low-end handsets… :)
